ABOUT

The Converse Volunteer Fire Company was incorporated in 1950. However, we have meeting minutes dating back to April, 1903. We provide assistance to Grant, Miami, Howard, and Wabash counties. Our force provides 24-hour service and has a Class V insurance rating.  We have improved our ISO rating from 8 to  5 in recent years. A lower rating saves homeowners on their homeowner's insurance.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH

We are passionate about providing fire education and prevention to our community by working with local organizations, such as The Ark Christian Camp and our schools' various summer activities.

VEHICLES

Our fleet includes one pumper, two tankers , two grass rigs, one rescue, and one engine.
