The Town Council of Converse has an open seat to replace Council Member John David as he is retiring. The Clerk Treasurer's office is accepting resumes for the position from January 5th to January 15th at 12:00 p.m. noon. Beginning January 7, 2021, recycling pick-up for Converse will be switched to totes. Republic Services will be delivering the new totes at the end of December. Residents are welcome to keep their old recycle bins, or if not, please put the old recycle bin in the new toter, and Republic Services will take it away.
